Opposing Andrew Cuomo is a non-negotiable for our membership. In light of today’s news that Jessica Ramos has endorsed Cuomo, our New York City CAP Council immediately voted to unendorse her on our ballots. @uawregion9a.bsky.social

Both of my senators, @markwarner.bsky.social and @kaine.senate.gov , have voted to confirm 6 and 8 members of Trump's cabinet respectively. There was no strategic rationale for doing so. Virginia is a mostly safe Dem state. There's no plausible explanation other than they support Trump's agenda.
My senator, Adam Schiff, has voted to confirm five members of Trump’s cabinet. There was no strategic rationale for doing so. California is a safe Dem state and he has six years before he’s up for re-election. There’s simply no plausible explanation beyond the fact that he supports Trump’s agenda.

If you are at a law firm or at some other white collar job and previously thought unions were not for you, this is a good time to organize
Rachel A. Cohen, formerly of Skadden Arps, has more ice cold critique for Paul, Weiss.

She spoke of the value for clients knowing that you're aware of "the long-term impacts of these blanket executive orders.

“And also, that you believe that the law exists.”

If you spend these days convincing yourself what is plainly happening in the US right now isn't happening, can't be happening, or won't get worse, you will not be in position to understand how we got here, how to fight, and how to build after we win. Such people cannot be in charge of the Dem party

- teach ins outside of SS offices slated to be closed

Hell yeah

Having sent a few things like this in my time, I can almost guarantee that she will lose her job. But may her actions inspire others who are on the fence about speaking out
Tonight, hours after the Paul Weiss news broke, an associate at Skadden Arps sent a firm-wide email:

"Please consider this email my two week notice, revocable if the firm comes up with a satisfactory response to the current moment...We do not have time. It is now or it is never..."

Any Paul Weiss clients should immediately look elsewhere
Incredible footnote to the Paul Weiss-bends-the-knee debacle: They hired Quinn Emmanuel and geared up to sue the Trump administration, but also had Quinn back-channeling with the White House and decided to surrender instead www.nytimes.com/2025/03/20/u...

Plan to add more details like who to file w/ and which pols are up in '26. Need to format as well
