A collection of moths trying to cosplay a human interdisciplinary artist. MedSci escapee, always drawing, in my chaos-bisexual-enby-hag era. Paintmaker. Moth, disability, & art-related sh*t-posting. https://linktr.ee/lycomorpha & lycomorpha.etsy.com

Bemused at all the people suddenly following me, so uhh.

Hi? Here's some things to know.

I swear a lot. If you're offended by words like wankspangled knobcockle, I'm not for you.

I post many moths & other bugs. I talk/yell about alt text, chronic life, pencils, & paint. I post paint-making a lot…
I love Berlin in the same way I love northern Norway.

I absolutely do not have any kinda handle on the dialect whatsoever (or even the language in the case of German.)

But very clearly these people really, really know how to swear, and I profoundly respect that.

"I Keep Going", 2021
When I miss the road, I send my little bugs out to wander, feel small among great things, encounter beautiful and ancient places, and maybe bring a little of that world back to you.

Apparently asshattery, arsebarnacle, cockwomble dicklimpet, shitspackled butt-walnut, twatmuffin, wankbasket, wankspangled knobcockle, and twatulent shitpickles don't bastardtittyfucking count. 🤷🙃
@lycomorpha.bsky.social has swears! They've used 583 profanities in their last 3,211 posts.

A report by the Covid inquiry into political decision-making during the pandemic proves that the “horrific” and disproportionate death toll among disabled people was not inevitable but the result of treating them as an “afterthought”, say campaigners.

Void-Floof has been pretty sick again lately & apparently has gone downhill while I've been away. (He's 16½, to be fair.)

So I'm mostly hoping he's still with us when I get back tomorrow. Please keep my studio manager Void in your thoughts. 😭
The Void is back! Unscheduled studio inspection!!

Void-Floof has been poorly lately, so he's been taking a break from studio management. Good to see he's feeling better. 😁

Me: spends several days with good people, gathering up pretzels, & eating them like very hungry pretzel-specific caterpillars. 🥨 🐛

Me: why do I have indigestion? An mystery. 🙃 🤷

The first embroidery I did. Chronic pain bleeds into everything, and it can be hard to fins beauty and calm when it drowns everything. #art

Hey @nature.com, have you got an explanation for how the hell THIS happened? & especially why you accepted a paper with such a bizarre piece of genAI slop in it?!
& more to the point, why we should take you seriously at all going forward?

If I start talking about different varieties & brands of pretzels like they're plant cultivars by the time I go home, someone's gonna need to stage an intervention.

Honestly, people calling creators the "petite bourgeoisie" makes me want to snap.

We're working folk. And we work really hard. For next to nothing.

We're not lounging around eating bonbons. We're trying to figure out how we're going to be able to pay rent next month.

Current pretzel species tried so far:

- Salted
- Pumpkin seed
- Puddingbrezel (vanilla cream-crown but make it pretzel shaped)
Once I've recovered from the morning-ness and the Tuesday-ness, I predict things will improve.

Visiting a friend who's apparently gonna make me eat pretzels.

Oh no. How terrible.

All eyes needed—and we're matching £887 / $1,162. Sarah's lupus is deteriorating; she really needs medical evacuation. She also needs care, which costs money—which she only gets through strangers. It's that simple.

Good morning & welcome to 'sweet holy fuckbeans, why am I awake?'

1. Tuesday's are objectively the worst.

2. I don't like getting up early but ♿-pick up is superfast with no queue.

3. All of the above, & I just need a coffee being enuf to swim in.

today's prompt: gender neutral/NB names inspired by nature, the more unhinged the better. go go go.
For real though, bibliographic terms make great nonbinary names. I have genuinely considered changing my name to Deckle
