i think my biggest complaint about fionna and cake is that it is so incredibly white. it is Obvious that no one black worked on the writing team cuz if they did they would not have marshall lee's black mom be evil and then give him a White Role Model. they would've made simone a black woman

fionna is such an interesting protagonist because she is trying so hard all the time and failing so badly and also stomping on everyone's feelings constantly. she's just kind of a jerk. love that we get a Female Character like this for once

"All is lost" narratives are popular because people generally do not want to take action. Taking action is tiring so if all is lost, you are off the hook. Nothing is more seductive than not having to do anything.

I'm begging any artists still using Twitter claiming it's integral to their work to just leave. It's been revealed the site works off a made up "credit score" from hell and punishes you for posting like a normal human being.
