I’ve made it through 2 Halloweens this year - one at the campground where I am a seasonal camper and the real one at home tonight. I gave out candy to more than 700 children between the two trick or treat events. It is wonderful to see such joy on their faces, and yet, I weep for their future.

If you’re just pissed off, like me, about the price of groceries, you’re lucky. You’re not making decisions like paying for housing/utilities/medical expenses vs. eating. Please support your local food banks - now!
People should never, ever go hungry in America! It is beyond unacceptable.

I live catty corner from a funeral home. Doesn’t bother me. It gives me the opportunity to pray for people I don’t know. Today there was a wake, lots of cars parked on my street. I saw in the paper the name of the deceased, and I worried that ICE was going to show up. That bothers me.

💯 Do what you can. Not all of us can get out to protest. I’ve expanded my garden this year to donate fresh produce to my local food pantry. I’m financially supporting Dems locally and nationally as much as possible. Please don’t think you’re impotent and can’t do anything about this. It all matters.
