And like, i find some of the origin aspects interesting, but i like nuance in guys, layers to their character. And they cranked the "master manipulator" way higher than it needed to be. I do like that he was dressed like a little edwardian boy in a mech though when he was baby.

They took a character who acted like that due to the complexities of war, who had moments of just being a dumb late teen early 20 something who would help pull a car out of the mud, whos favorite color was red, and was smart but still human and said "nah hes lelouch now"
