People actually find it funny a lot of the time don't they

Yet another 1 😢. How awful for her, her family& any witnesses.

She was doing everything right, as the article goes to great lengths to say.

& yet a driver still killed her.

The bit where he falls over the chain has me cry-laughing 🤣

God love Kew, this is incredible

Everyone please congratulate me on my new bike! 🤣 feeling unbearably smug on my new @ternbicycles.com quick haul long.
This morning, took kiddo to school, dropped recycling off, & picked up a parcel. Got home before my neighbours who just took their SUV to drop kids at same school lol.

What a win!

The Snowflake Contradiction -

when an individual accuses others of being offended at everything "these days" (by everything they mean racial/homophobic /transphobic slurs), while simultaneously losing their shite, and cancelling their Netflix subscription over a gender-neutral, cartoon robot.

I agree with you entirely: i love christmas especially now I have kids, but flatly refuse to talk about, look at or shop for anything Xmas related until December.
If ppl stopped taking part, shops would stop stocking it. Its consumerist madness, spending 1/4 of every year buying tat for 1 day!

The green cross code is the most disastrous public information campaign in history. It has made generations believe that pedestrians are responsible for avoiding crashes. Crashes are actually the responsibility of the operators of the massive motorised lumps of metal.

If cleaners were paid decently she wouldn't have needed to do this in the first place. Especially in London I expect she was still barely getting by.

Today's utterly horrific car-brain related story.

Uninsured, illegal number plate, 130mph hits a person, lies to police, implicates his partner.

3 yr sentence and 5 yr ban 🙄

There are few things more intimidating to a woman than a large group of clearly drunk, screaming men stood on a train platform shouting football chants, right where I need to unlock and walk my bike 😬

I think they should all pay a levy for the massive number of police escorting them too

Oh great idea. How do I make my profile private? I can't find anywhere in settings?

I already block ppl from the outset unless I can see they're the sort of person I want to interact with. But I'd like to make my account private if possible
loucycle.bsky.social
This response will be from the sort of person who thinks its absolutely fine to bump their SUV up on the pavement to park though.....

FYI this sort of obtuse response to an e-bike post is an insta-block from me
When you put a motor on a bicycle it becomes a motorcycle.

There are already laws covering bicycles with motors on them.

The size of the motor is not relevant: if it drives the wheel it is a motorcycle.

Why is this hard? No I don’t want your motorcycle on a bicycle path with children.

🤦‍♀️ these people!
loucycle.bsky.social
But at least he managed to get in front of you, thats clearly all that matters to him 🙄
loucycle.bsky.social
Yes! They just see a bike (not a human, or a mother and child) and think "there's a problem" don't they.
loucycle.bsky.social
I really, really like the point that lights are motoring infrastructure in the first place - there's a reason pedestrianised areas, parks & everywhere else without cars do not have them! If drivers behaved themselves, a large % of traffic lights wouldn't be needed at all!
loucycle.bsky.social
Absolute dangerous morons overtaking me doing 19mph down hill, on my ebike, with 5yr old on the back, in a 20mph zone.
What is up with these entitled dickheads?!
loucycle.bsky.social
That's weird, its almost like they don't know what they're talking about?!

They didn't find cuts through the failed DOGE.

This was their flyer in May 2025.

If Michelle Mone gets to keep the superyacht, the private jet and the seat in the House of Lords, at least give the 'benefit scroungers' narrative a break for a couple of weeks
