Haven't had Wacom pressure sensitivity working properly in ZBrush for over a year. Did every workaround I could find on the internet.
Nothing worked.
Found this video and Finally! Fully working pressure sensitivity.
Had to uninstall all Visual C++ and reinstall ZBrush's versions.

We can indeed stop these companies when they try to replace people with stolen slop.
The solution is bullying corporations, which is half y'all's hobby anyway so this should be easy.

As someone who works in the tech industry--absolutely.
They are testing the waters. These are top-down orders. The ONLY way to stop it is a visceral negative reaction. Write articles. Post your rage. Email. Post. @. All those things.

Let me give some insight on this, as a producer in the dub industry who worked with major streamers, who's witnessed first-hand where this push for AI is coming from.
tl;dr: Only CEOs want this. Tell them how much you hate it. Be loud, email, call, @, post. You will kill this.

The only thing less human than these AI dub performances is the decision to sign off on them

If The X-Files were produced today in a modern streaming era, where only small amount of episodes and continuous story lines are made, it would of lost the best thing it had going for it. The "monster of the week" one-off episodes are the reason the show is fondly remembered, not the ongoing plot.
The X-Files is genuinely a timelessly good show, because when not focusing on overarching conspiracy plot, they would really just focus on a single concept and quite crucially, it would cast an incredible actor to center the episode around who would be utterly god damn captivating to watch.

Remember, the big argument for AI in the arts is that these “artists” have ideas, hundreds of ideas, thousands, all that was stopping them was the hoards of gatekeeping musicians, writers, illustrators… and not that they were lazy and didn’t want to put in the work.

Nothing like hosting Thanksgiving with a group of 21 people at an out of town rental place and have a partially frozen "fresh turkey" which you don't find out is frozen until the day of. Also, the rental place runs off a large propane tank that is empty so your heat and gas range barely works.

I was just at a rental place and the huge Sony TV in the main room had the motion smoothing on when family members were watching Stranger Things. I was late to the viewing and because the show was well underway was powerless to stop the constant too many frames then stuttering motion of the TV.

This is getting ridiculous. YouTube recommended me a completely fabricated AI story that mixed actual WWII events with a non-existent individual. Despite a tiny pop-up claiming it's AI and even in the description it says "entertainment storytelling" people in the comments think it's true.
