Lawmakers passed the bill’s first reading with a narrow 28–8 vote, sending it to a Knesset committee for further action, Wafa reports. Israeli ministries are already barred from engaging with the UN agency. This new measure goes further. It would block utility companies from supplying water or power to any property registered under UNRWA, and it authorizes the state to confiscate agency-registered land held by the Israel Land Authority. If enacted, it would mark another escalation in Israel’s long campaign to cripple UNRWA’s operations in the occupied territories.

Ce n'est pas à lui d'aller inviter les maires ni qui que ce soit à des préparations guerrières décidées par personne : ni le président, ni le gouvernement, ni le Parlement. Ni à prévoir des sacrifices qui seraient la conséquence de nos échecs diplomatiques sur lesquels son avis public n'a pas été demandé ! Où est passé le président Macron ? Pourquoi permet-il cela ?
