this is a good thread to read. congratulations of seeing credit cards possibly paid off, for one thing. trying to economically keep a house functional without drowning in designer debt is a very good thing. you are very lucky to be in a reasonably priced area, too.

This is a big loss for journalism in Oregon.
On the day that @opb.org CEO Rachel Smolkin posted this video, saying OPB’s funding gap of $5 million was closed, I was also told by the Chief Content Officer that Hush was canceled. Eighty percent of my income, and my health insurance - gone. I was given no reason for the cancellation. 1/x

my yearly reminder: don't use a reversing vacuum cleaner to clear a clogged garbage disposal unless you are prepared to clean ten pounds of potato peelings off the roof. poof! up through the vent! clog was gone, though. so successful!
