Why does this tax exile 'foreigner' think our government should discuss policy with him? He should feck off back to Monaco. Made his choice based on his own interest, to avoid tax. Anything he has to say will be only in his own interests, again.

The leader of #Reform #UK in Wales caught taking bribes to push pro-Russia propaganda. He’s ex-UKIP, ex-Brexit Party—all 3 under Trump’s best pal Nigel Farage, who praised #Putin and spread Kremlin lies. #ArronBanks lurks in the same shadows. This is your "patriotism".

Indiana voters: Let your legislators know you don’t like having elections rigged in your state.
Screenshot of a tweet from Gavin Newsom (@GavinNewsom) on X. The tweet reads: ‘Turns out… RIGGING ELECTIONS IS NOT POPULAR. Keep up the pressure. It’s working.’ Below it is an embedded tweet from journalist Adam Wren reporting that Donald Trump’s mid-cycle redistricting push in Indiana is stalling, with Republican officials warning the White House.

I find it increasingly funny that hit pieces on @zackpolanski.bsky.social and @greenparty.org.uk are essentially who would choose to vote for someone with crazy radical ideas of spreading wealth and equality for all. Why would anyone want to protect the planet. Won't you think of poor landlords!!

NEW: For the last several months, I have written and spoken regularly about the rise of authoritarianism in the United States. This is not something I ever envisioned for myself — and it is certainly not something my ancestors envisioned for their great grandchildren.

Finally!!! The real scandal of the asylum hotels. Why, instead of shining the light on these parasites, months were spent on demonising vulnerable people at their mercy?

No sudden rupture is now required for the far right to take power in this country. For what we're seeing is a steady normalisation of extremists by the Conservative and Labour Parties, BBC, Telegraph, Mail and others. A shift once considered unthinkable beings to look acceptable, even inevitable.🧵

Further reminder - some of those currently trying to weaponise yesterday’s tragedy to fuel Islamophobia have a documented history of antisemitism. As @zackpolanski.bsky.social says ‘Islamophobia and antisemitism are two sides of the same coin’.

Unacceptable…except to Stephen Miller, Kristi Noem and Tom Homan who all want to see more of this behavior from ICE, not less.
A news post by Camilo Montoya-Galvez on X, timestamped 10 hours ago, reports that an ICE officer, previously relieved of duties after being filmed pushing a woman to the ground outside an immigration court in New York City, has been returned to duty, according to two U.S. officials. The post includes a blurred image showing the incident, with the officer appearing to push a woman against a wall while other individuals, including law enforcement, are present in the background. The Department of Homeland Security had called the officer's conduct "unacceptable" three days prior.
