Democratic lawyer Marc Elias said his election litigation boutique, Elias Law Firm, has been growing quickly in head count and demand since he launched it four years ago, partly thanks to a surge in litigation over voting rights and redistricting over the last year. www.law.com/newyorklawjo...

The boutique has grown to 62 total attorneys since its founding in 2021, an increase Elias credited largely to redistricting fights at the state level.

CASSIDY: I know it's titillating, but I think we need to move beyond the titillation

TAPPER: This isn't about titillation. This is about the fact that you are the chairman of the health committee and you voted to confirm somebody that by all accounts is actually making America less healthy
November 23, 2025 at 2:42 PM
omfg This is a cabinet secretary?!? Responsible for our health? Everything about this is repulsive.

it's again, this sort of weird simulacrum journalism that covers the superficial aspects of certain things, but has no interest in any sort of real exploration of the broader issues? especially as they pertain to consumers, labor, and market health?

just superficial, pro-business cack

the warner brothers media consolidation shittiness extends a quarter century back to the AOL stuff

but we literally just watched AT&T, Time Warner, and Discovery trip over its own ass with a serious of cash-burning pointless mergers and...no mention of any of it

you can read a 1000 word story on these mergers without the journalist EVER mentioning the fact that almost every merger like this has resulted in oodles of debt, layoffs, chaos, frustration, and shittier product

they just don't think that's useful context to even mention

On Wednesday, Democrats held another shadow hearing about President Trump’s immigration enforcement operations and the impact they are having on communities.

If you receive an illegal order, you have a duty to disobey.

This isn’t controversial.

A President calling for the execution of anyone who reminds service members of this oath is showing us why the duty to disobey illegal orders is so important in the first place.

The Senate has with unanimous consent agreed to pass H.R. 4405, my bill with Rep. Thomas Massie, as soon as it gets there in the morning.

It then heads to Donald Trump's desk.

He should have the survivors who made this possible at the bill's signing.

“Piggy” is particularly egregious but he tells reporters to shut up all the time. He insults them personally and asks where they work before telling them they’re bad people.

The only way to know this is by watching the unedited videos because it’s so routine that it’s not considered newsworthy.
Reporters shouldn’t have to take that shit just because he’s president.
