The situation in Venezuela is far more complex than the U.S. government will ever admit, but it also highlights why the people balk at any U.S. intervention.

It's easy to call foreign news services or independent journalism 'propaganda' when you've manipulated and propagandized your own population enough to believe everything you say about the people in and from foreign countries.

I forced the State Department to change its narrative about the last election in Venezuela. Why? Because the data they claimed was legit couldn't and still can't be validated as authentic. I investigated it all for more than two months.

Suspicious accounts with fake names and profile pictures coming at me with one-sided State Department taking points about Venezuela are comical. I slap them with links to my work and remind them that I don't support any world leaders, but the people, and they shut the fuck up.

Then, I block them.

As Palestinian fighters prepare to exchange the rest of the Israeli captives for thousands of Palestinian prisoners, we look back to the previous ceasefire (which Israel broke) that led to the last swap in January 2025.
