i really am very sorry about that
February 2, 2026 at 11:33 PM
out of podcasts, too. this is definitely the worst thing that's ever happened to a person
February 2, 2026 at 11:23 PM
ah shit forgot i gave myself a time-delay chore (still have to hang up laundry)
February 2, 2026 at 11:22 PM
they also still haven't fixed the thing where if my bluetooth headphones are connected, the phone alarm sounds get all sped up and buffer underrunny and messed up (both on the phone speaker and on the headphones)

it's like... how does this happen
February 2, 2026 at 10:54 PM
baffling things happening with my phone again. now every time after it plays a notification sound my music starts playing
February 2, 2026 at 10:54 PM
could go so far as to call it an AI (disambiguation) boom
February 2, 2026 at 10:51 PM
very polite of you to announce it though
February 2, 2026 at 10:37 PM

February 2, 2026 at 10:35 PM

February 2, 2026 at 10:15 PM
or rather i wanted to visit somewhere that isn't a city center or w/e so i figured i might as well go there for the bit
February 2, 2026 at 10:10 PM
ofc the main reason i'm even going that way is i wanna visit the town featured in super cub (hokuto) but i strongly believe in the importance of committing fully to doing something silly sometimes
February 2, 2026 at 10:09 PM
i gotta say public transit in kofu seems a lot less impressive lol. i hear yamanashi is relatively car centric in general

doesn't help that the onsen hotel place i think i wanna stay at is far from everything
February 2, 2026 at 10:05 PM
there is too much shit in tokyo, and indeed, in the greater tokyo metropolitan area
February 2, 2026 at 9:33 PM
happy birthday penny!!
February 2, 2026 at 9:30 PM
oh yeah i was looking at hotel stuff during some downtime at work. seems like a hotel near ueno/akihabara would be good in tokyo, in terms of access to public transit and being close to places i wanna go

though as always i'm open to suggestions
February 2, 2026 at 9:03 PM
lol i never knew the seal of the city of new york has fuckin windmill sails on it

The workers saw how their united struggle forced the abandonment of hypocritical police lies…They understood who was their real foe when they, who were not violating law and order, had the troops and police sent against them, just as though they were the country’s enemies.

February 2, 2026 at 8:21 PM
trying not to overdo it so i will probably do the bathroom and and other load of laundry tomorrow. also gotta vacuum
February 2, 2026 at 8:14 PM
i'm gonna be honest i kinda think the primary mechanism people learn about this stuff is through direct experience. idk if you can tell them in a way that sticks, what with the whole epistemological crisis and all
I genuinely have no idea how to convey this to the American people, but I think the biggest impediment to any kind of immigration reform is that people are convinced that "legal" and "illegal" are immutable, intrinsic categories instead of a rapidly-shifting arbitrary constellation of regulations.
