“Be as courageous as you can…if none of us is prepared to die for freedom, then all of us will die under tyranny.” Lesson 20

If you haven’t read the book, On Tyranny by Timothy Snyder, I highly recommend it. It’s a very quick read with great info.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto threw the Dodgers first pitch of the regular season on March 18 in Tokyo and the last pitch in Game 7 of the World Series in Toronto on Nov. 1.

During it all, Yamamoto posted a 2.30 ERA and 0.95 WHIP across 211 combined regular season and postseason innings (and 3,315 pitches).
Amazing performance by Yoshi. He truly meant that “losing is not an option” and backed it up with his performance
Home field advantage didn’t matter. They still won
Back-to-back World Series Champs!!

Dodgers grind out the win. So many players stepped up this series to make it possible. Yes, Yamamoto was amazing, but hats off to Will Klein who pitched the game of his life (gm3) and Rojas whose defense was critical along with his game tying HR today. Amazing!!!

Medicare for All would save $450B a year.

Every dollar spent on food stamps generates $1.50-$1.80 in economic activity.

Each dollar going to low-wage workers adds $1.20 to the economy overall.

It’s not about what this country can or can’t afford.

It’s about priorities.
I guess his command of English pronouns is nonexistent. “We” is inclusive. So either they are both saying they’re democrats or they’re taking responsibility.

They are such idiots!

Happy Halloween. Trickle-down economics is nothing more than a cruel hoax designed to enrich corporations and the super-rich. For working people, it's been 40 years of all trick and no treat. Enough.

The disappearance of America’s leadership class at a time like this means that the rest of us have to be leaders. We can no longer wait to be led by those with the power and authority to lead. You must lead, I must lead, all of us must lead. We are the leaders we’ve been waiting for.
We should have always been leading. When we vote for our reps, we should have always been the ones letting them know what we want. But we have abdicated our responsibility to hold them accountable for far too long. They work for us and since they won’t do their jobs. It’s time for us to step in

Shameless capitalists who’ve destroyed the middle class want you to know democratic socialists will destroy the middle clas
Yes…don’t get distracted by the actions of the 🍊💩

Focus on the issues of the working class. You can point out that the narcissistic baby cares only about himself but then give real policy solutions to combat the increasing cost of living.
This is what is important to people. Making life affordable.

Point out that this selfish fascist is only interested in himself while he lets folks suffer. But Dems need to share real solutions that show they are capable of helping everyday people. Focus on the issues that matter
Gallego on what the next Democratic president should do about Trump's ballroom: "To really mess with him, just name it the Barack Obama Ballroom, and I think that will take care of half the problem."
It’s not just that the system rewards manipulation. It’s that the system encourages building wealth through ownership without valuing workers who are needed and make the business successful/profitable. There is a hierarchy in jobs that maintains the classes rather than valuing all equally
From this report, it seems he knew more about the symbols than he’s admitting.
CNN confirms that multiple sources suggest Graham Platner knew his tattoo was a Nazi symbol years prior to launching his campaign — and is now blatantly lying about it.
