My spicy thanksgiving pie discourse is that I don't make or get pumpkin pie for thanksgiving. Every year I make an apple cranberry crisp and this year we also have a pumpkin cheesecake from Costco.

My grandma was a librarian. I didn't set out to become a librarian when I went back to college, but I had work study, and ended up getting a job in the library. One of the librarians I worked with told me I'd be good at the job, and I thought yeah, could be.

Not a Boomer, but I had a very close relationship with my grandpa Hal, who was a WWII veteran. He passed in 2023 at 99 years old. In his last few months we talked a bit about the rise of Nazism in this country, and it broke his heart. Sometimes I'm so grateful he didn't live to see some things.

Let me just add that someone at the #knitandstitch show asked me if I would sell them the hat on the right (which was a sample) and I said sure, 30 euros and they said that was too much lol. 🧶
