I am actively working on this now. I wanted a new side project and this idea is cool. If anyone else wants to do their own version let's go

I mean, how much of that is real money though? A lot of very large numbers are thrown around and though I believe the debt "exists" insomuch as it is a number on a sheet it is not real and will never be paid off anyway.
Meta's Reality Labs metaverse-focused arm generated $2.2 billion in revenue for the 12 months ending December 31st, 2025, but clocked up a $19.2 billion operational loss. Since the division was set up in 2020, the company has lost $83.6 billion on Reality Labs

There's something about having lived through the various console generations that is just unlikely to happen again. Experiencing the jump from NES to PS2 was unreal and it all happened over a 15 year period. It's why I've long felt more realistic graphics in and of themselves are a dead end.

Watching some cut ups of the Seahawks offense and like... I'm not sure, outside of him outright saying he's not interested, why you couldn't wait like an extra two weeks for Kubiak.

Mr. Met has taken credit for a lot of things for decades just like this so I assume the latter. Well, except for his relationship with Bernie Madoff and how he introduced him to the Wilpon's.

He refuses to acknowledge any aspect of that relationship.
Either Mr and Mrs Met work incredibly fast, or they’re showing up at the end of a long, arduous task to take credit for the work of others. I’ll let y’all be the judge, but I’m dubious!
The Mets equipment truck will leave for Port St. Lucie, FL for Spring Training this Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Met will help load the truck at 12:15 p.m. and the truck will pull out of the parking lot at 1:00 p.m.

Sometimes I see people playing MTG or Pokemon and it looks so cool but for some reason I've never really had a TCG click in my brain. I don't know what it is but I just do not understand them. I have actively tried and it's like my brain just can't do it. Maybe this is the year I figure this out.

I have been very slowly putting a piece together and that's 100% on me and just dealing with some stuff but you should absolutely check out One Rotten Oath.

Sullivan setting up for what seems like a pile driver and then immediately just saying "nah" and dropping this dude on his head and walking away disinterested?

That's me every time I start to do dishes.
Kevin Sullivan tags in, almost breaks a guy's neck trying a cool new move of the 90s, immediately tags back out.

I was just thinking about how as far as grifts go, this is one that never succeeds. Eliminating 50% of potential purchasers as some form of "owning" vastly over estimates the market for your product. Every single one of these companies that aren't Trump endorsed have immediately flopped.

The word lore becoming this catchall to describe just like someone's life experiences is endlessly funny to me but I also sort of love it

I get people are dumping on it and I fully understand why (it's a bad movie) but the part in Melania where she rappels down that four hundred foot gold statue of Trump right before the inauguration is pretty surprising.

Swen Vinke may be one of the most coddled and perhaps ignorant people that has ever existed. Everything he posts is so out of touch with reality that it actively makes me mad that he has both a platform and a company.

OKAY! So here's a quick thread about "Athletic Department Profits" and how we ought to think about the parade of headlines we'll see over the next few weeks about debt and revenue and "profitability"

sorry if this is deep nerd shit or more than you wanted BUT I'M GONNA DO IT ANYWAY
I'm confused, though. Wasn't there a whole database system only like 5 years ago where you could search almost every D1 school in the country and see their financials, and only something like 20 D1 schools were actually turning profits?

One interesting part of when I wake up at 5 am EST is that a massive number of people I follow are in the UK/Europe and then the other half are PST. It's like there's a time clock where everyone punches in every few hours.

The strangest thing to me when I visited the UK was that of the three gravies two are the same?
On podcasts I always hear Americans talking about all the different fast food places they have, contrasting and comparing them. Why so many? Here in the UK we only have one, it’s called “GravyBoost” and the only menu options are three different types of gravy, delivered via funnel.

If there is one thing I have always found strange it's when someone writes a thread and at the end then has to clarify the entire thread. Did you not mean the exact words you just said? Context, especially in writing and online can be difficult to pass sometimes so choose your words carefully.

This whole High Guard situation is I don't know. As much as the TGA thing went very poorly the actual game is ok but has issues including map and team size. The 3v3 aspect is just not really great and it seems like the maps can support more but they don't have enough characters.
