Menopause-related side effects are common in young women with HR+ early breast cancer on ovarian suppression + endocrine therapy. Hot flashes, night sweats, sleep issues & anxiety worsen over time, especially in women <40. Clinical care must address QoL. #BreastCancer

In this study, tamoxifen and anastrozole appear to be equally effective.

Over 10 years, in low-risk patients,
equal overall survival (OS) and locoregional recurrence (LRR) rates!

Re: running groups for people living with long term conditions. Most groups are *group education* (‘expert’ leads group) and full of content. In contrast *group activation* relies on facilitation and learning from each other with little formal content. See Irvine Yalom’s common factors.

Having been involved in the roll out of social prescribing it’s good to see that there is indeed an impact. This team used sensible outcome measures and showed a small but definite change in multiple indicators.
