The reflex here is to get angry at Schumer, because he’s obviously garbage, but if the majority of elected dems disagreed with Schumer to any real degree, he’d have already been removed.

This “lesser of two evils” argument is wearing thin on the constituents. The Dems have alienated an entire segment of their base and decided to ignore every voting issue they have over trying to appease centrists independents. We look like a nation about to plunge into a civil war right now.
