I wrote a book about a "tradcon" white man coming to grips with his and America's bigotry while in prison therapy. Why? Because no one else has, and people struggling to unlearn hatred need relatable characters to show them the way.

Trying to change someone's mind is like trying to pick a broken lock; it takes more than the right key but there IS a way! This is a story of one American man who learned how to open his eyes with hard lessons, help, and a lot of empathy.

How do you write a story when you know it's good/worth it but it's just *exhausting*? I'm so so close to finishing my book of short stories, but this last one is kicking my ass.

Writing has been...not very forthcoming lately.

Sales on Bounty Inc. still haven't even reached half what *preorders* were on either Gam Gam novellas, and I spent way more on Bounty Inc. overall.

So, basically both motivation AND money have been very low 😅

Swinging in the midday sun.
Has no smell about it

Where did the body go,
If it left this fell piece behind?
And why does it wave to me,
As if it's me it's hoping to find?

I just realized... Writing tropes are the equivalent of old cartoons where the low-quality cell shading gave away what was about to move.

Guys, they've figured us out... We need to write new tropes.

Part of me is just, like, Im so sick of perfecting my books.

Ive wrung every single drop of joy out of the process of writing them and obsessing over them. Ive chewed well beyond the point of losing their flavor and are now just rubbery in my mouth.

I just want them off my desk and on a shelf!

Just went through the BlueSky Moderation filter and holy fuck the mods are condescendingly paternalistic and delusional.
If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.
