And it only works if they're vocal about it, so no one can claim they weren't aware.
I think it’s time for Democratic leaders to start saying “if you’re a pilot or ground crew involved in a deportation that was stayed by a judge, you’ll be held criminally liable for human trafficking.” Everyone involved in these flights should have that fear in the back of their minds.
Overnight, this probable ICE flight landed in Benin and is now returning to Senegal, likely for a crew layover.

Suffice to say she's not describing gerrymandering here.
Kristi Noem: "When it gets to Election Day, we've been proactive to make sure we have the right people voting, electing the right leaders to lead this country."

"Democrats have refused to fund the department" (complimentary)
Note the framing here:

It’s “Democrats have refused to fund” DHS and not “Republicans refused to prohibit face masks” or “the two parties could not agree on how to reform the agency.”

Monsters. And we're paying for them to do this.
On Thanksgiving, the immigrant children held at the Dilley detention center gathered in the gym for what they thought was a holiday feast.

The kids salivated over a spread of turkey, sandwiches, pastries and pies, a family told me.

But the food wasn’t for detainees — it was for the staff.

Big Trouble in Little China (1986)
Have asked this before and always like the responses. What are your biggest “I saw that in the first run cinema” flexes? Couple of mine:

Transformers: The Movie (1986)
Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993)
Office Space (1999)

Is the NY Times trying to tell us that Trump didn't mean to be a racist? Because he obviously does mean to be a racist. The evidence is all over the behavior of his regime.

I am so down for "Being an American doing American things Americanly right up in the fascists' faces and daring them to try taking our America away, because fuck you, un-American prick" content.
Go for it!

Here’s what I’m doing:
-looking for federal agents
-following them on public roads
-blowing a whistle to alert people they’re there
-checking their cars against a known list of plates
-filming them
-sharing this info with neighbors

Arrest me and let’s find out if it’s illegal!
They are totally going to try and arrest @whstancil.bsky.social at some point

And Gaza, and Ukraine, and DC, etc. By declaring victory, they put the press in the position of defying him by reporting that the victory turned out to be fake.
Swear to god, ICE could just announce they're leaving a city but not leave and the media will just stop covering that city completely even though ICE never left.

It's what ICE and the media did with LA and they're doing it with Minneapolis too

All the announcer has to do is mention the president one time. The crowd will take care of the rest.

What @vermontgmg.bsky.social actually said was *4913* agents arrested. There's a bad edit in this clip that makes it sound like he said 13:

The Bill of Rights is just too onerous, you don't know what you're asking for, and frankly, it's unamerican.
Rep. Mark Harris: "Some of these things are nonstarters. Having judicial warrants? To me, hat's a nonstarter. Being able to make off their mask, putting them at risk? That's a nonstarter. I would say anything that's going to hamstring the work of ICE, that's just not going to go anywhere."

"The population of CBP agents and officers who have been arrested would make it roughly the nation’s fourth largest police department — equal to the size of the entire Philadelphia police."
I testified Friday before Gov. Pritzker's commission studying abuses of ICE and CBP and tried to explain how the agencies went so far off track. It's actually way worse than I ever realized. Please read and share my testimony as Congress considers reform: www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/accountabi...

However bad you think the corruption and misconduct at ICE and CBP is — the reality is far far worse.

There are ICE whistleblowers and there are ICE whistle blowers.
We've got a lot of one. We need more of both.
If you work for ICE or Border Patrol and have information about unlawful conduct taking place at your agency, please speak up.

House Judiciary Dems want to hear from you. America needs to know about crimes committed in our name. As a whistleblower, you can share anonymously:
