This line needs to be pushed hard, particularly the closer we get to a general election. However, it will need to be done skilfully, or we’ll run the risk of it being dismissed as another Brexit-style ‘Project Fear’. We all know that Project Fear became Project Reality but that won’t cut through.
I’d describe the colour of Fiona’s jacket as ‘powder blue’ whereas Reform Ltd have turquoise as their colour (which upsets me, as it’s one of my favourite colours)
Can someone remind new Tory Matthew Syed just who destroyed our manufacturing base back in the 1980s?

So Mr Reform from Lincolnshire wants to save the county by not investing in renewables? It’s a very flat county. Maybe he should think about saving it from the flooding damage that uncontrolled climate change will cause?

There’s a lot of bot accounts on FB for sure
He also the reason Farage backs an insurance-based health system for the UK. As always, follow the money.
‘hear’, not ‘jest’ 🙄
I mean , I don’t disagree with any of what he says but why couldn’t he see all this before? It’s not like it wasn’t obvious 🤷‍♀️
It was refreshing to jest him calling for a bit of calm around Trump’s wild claims. His reality check should be repeated on all BBC output.

This deserves more attention than it has received.

Gove: "we were too anxious as a government to secure those deals in order to show that Brexit was working".

Exactly as so many of us warned at the time, and as the government denied at the time.

Michael Gove admits that post-Brexit trade deals were bad for farmers
Michael Gove has admitted for the first time that the Australia and New Zealand trade deals negotiated by the former Tory government did not protect Britain’s farmers.

Commiserations to the Donald for losing out to a woman from Venezuela.
I’d like to see a lot more scrutiny of Banks.
Trump and his acolytes might well think he can “move mountains by sheer force of his will”, but that can’t get him a Nobel prize! Go, Norway!
Tice and Farage should be treated like the traitors they are.

Having backed and assisted the Israel war on Palestinians & the #gazagenocide itself, Donald Trump comes up with a #PeacePlan to end it & wants the #NobelPeacePrize for doing so.
You couldn't make this up.
He should face arrest for complicity in #CrimesAgainstHumanity.

You don’t get to bankroll a genocide…

Embolden and cheer on the perpetrators

…and then call yourself a hero for pulling the plug.

Am I alone in thinking it’s far too early to be heralding this ‘deal’ as proof of the ending of conflict in the Middle East? Far too early for the congratulatory messages? Personally, I don’t trust Netenyahu to keep any bargain and I fear the Palestinians are being shafted. Again.
Does it come with pins or do I need to supply my own?
If anyone in Labour had a modicum of political nous, they’d be pushing the Churchill angle at every mention of the ECHR.
What an appalling take on life by Badenoch and her ilk.

Someone should notify Reform UK that Kemi Badenoch is attacking English language and literature.

#UKpolitics
Badenoch and Co see education only as a means to a massive income in some soul destroying career.

Devoid of imagination and the power of knowledge they view life entirely through the prism of the CV.

My advice always is to study what interests you and the rest will follow
“The figures have ballooned,” she says. Since 2016. Does Kemi wonder WHY that might have happened? Was it for fun? Who was in power at that time? Could it possibly have anything to do with Brexit and the chaos that has caused? It’s just a mystery.

It was a horrific attack. No one should defend it, but that’s where Starmer’s ‘humanity’ stops. At no point does he condemn the Israeli govt for their egregious, genocidal acts since which have made the Jewish people more unsafe across the globe. At no point has he shown empathy with Gaza citizens.
