I feel like this is the best way to describe my feelings on it. It should be better, but I'm still having fun, and ZA is an improvement performance and graphically from both Arceus and S/V even if it isn't exactly reaching their potential

Pokémon games are in a weird place for me where I still like them a lot, but they also feel like a comfort food who's quality is yo-yoing even if it has the potential to be a gourmet meal.

Yeah I do think it is a bit exaggerated. I like CRT filters... but the only ones I've found I like are the ones on Retrotinks and Analogue devices. A lot of the stuff I've tried elsewhere feel over the top.

Oddly enough, I think it exists to attempt to replicate how CRT TVs "smooth over" sprites to make them look like a cohesive image. But it does it VERY poorly.

Yeah this is definitely something I'd not play the remaster of. I hate these smoothing filters with a passion for pixel art games.

Yeah I picked the Sonic Frontiers DLC (not the game itself) but... I guess even that isn't truly garbage.

I usually just drop things I'm not enjoying. Maybe I have rolled credits on something worse but I just cannot remember.

It's crazy how the discourse will always boil down to "reviews don't matter" but then we always have

- Review scores too low, GAMING JOURNALISM BAD

- Review scores too high, something is wrong. I need reviewers to push MY agenda

P5R, because man I wish Royal was my first P5 experience. I really liked P5 but the end was disappointing for me. Royal added so much good stuff and fixed that right up.
