A short film I wrote, filmed by Nathan Roach (Coal Poet Media), 'The Dunes', exploring the perspective of a runaway kid finding sanctuary in a desolate duneland on the Welsh coast.

Huge thanks to Nathan for the beautiful images of #Kenfig #poetry #wales

RFK Jr.'s statement that autistic kids "will never pay taxes" makes a lot more sense when you realize the only autistic person he knows is Elon Musk.

'There are limits to saying,
In language, what the tree did.'

from 'The Problem of Describing Trees' by Robert Haas
Whatever you can do,
or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius,
power and magic in it.

Goethe
"Every miserable fool who has nothing at all of which he can be proud, adopts as a last resource pride in the nation to which he belongs; he is ready and happy to defend all its faults and follies tooth and nail, thus reimbursing himself for his own inferiority."

Schopenhauer
"The ideal subject of totalitarian rule is not the convinced Nazi or the convinced Communist, but people for whom the distinction between fact and fiction and the distinction between true and false no longer exist."

Hannah Arendt
"What prepares men for totalitarian domination in the non-totalitarian world is the fact that loneliness, once a borderline experience usually suffered in certain marginal social conditions like old age, has become an everyday experience."

Hannah Arendt
"The loss of paradoxical thinking is the blindness of our civilization. It happened when we repressed the feminine side of our lives as the inferior side" - Richard Rohr
Wow that sounds like an amazing course! Longley was a wonder.

For those of you who haven't read the executive order about Alaska, it does a lot more than open ANWR to drilling and renaming Denali. They are going to revisit ANCSA, which gave lands back to Alaska Natives and was settled in 1971.
