I didn't know that, but not surprised.

They regularly went head to head on Barry Cassidy's "Last Shout" and David seemed to know how to play Ros.

Malcolm Macgregor and John Stone winding each other up was pretty memorable too.

I still remember her chat with RW journalist David Barnett. He was saying the current crop of ALP ministers are enhancing your reputation. Ros was going "aww, what a lovely thing to say".

(The reality was David saying they are so bad, they make you look good. Ros didn't get it...)

I came here from Adelaide 30 years ago, married a Victorian, and forgot to go home.

I remember being dazzled by Chapel St being more alive on a Monday night than anywhere in Adelaide (ever) and stuff like that, but after a few years, the Melbourne life was too good.

CBP agents knocked on an El Paso home at 7:15 a.m.

The owner asked to secure his Rottweiler, Chop, in the bathroom.

While he got his ID, agents opened the door and shot Chop.

The family tried to save him as he bled out on the kitchen floor.
