if you're one person making a comic by yourself, don't treat yourself like you should function on the same level as comics that have multiple people working on them. your backgrounds can be squiggles and colors.

Let me give some insight on this, as a producer in the dub industry who worked with major streamers, who's witnessed first-hand where this push for AI is coming from.
tl;dr: Only CEOs want this. Tell them how much you hate it. Be loud, email, call, @, post. You will kill this.

My brain wants me to get a migraine so bad that I can feel the pain in my neck. The preventative I take makes the inside of my head numb so there is no pain but the throbbing I feel is still there, along with a slight ache in my eyes...hate being able to feel my brain.
