I just paid the internet and phone bills… I’m going to need help again this month. Mom’s phone bill is due, and I won’t have anything left for the rest of the month for food or electricity (heat and rent is paid, at least). Please donate or share. ko-fi.com/soniasulaima...

This is your occasional reminder that, if you like Neil Gaiman's stuff, but can't bring yourself to like it anymore for justifiable reasons, Tanith Lee is the author he is credibly accused of extensively cribbing from, and her work is on Audible, and AMAZING.

It may sound radical, but if one guy has so much wealth and power that he can use the large newspaper he owns to publicly threaten to ruin a service we all rely on, presumably as a bargaining tactic to get lower rates, we probably need to tax that guy until he can't do that anymore.

But Amazon may give up its long-standing partnership with USPS to deliver packages itself, which could spell disaster for the mail agency.

Everyday is Indigenous Peoples Day but today we say FUCK COLUMBUS just a little louder.

Non-natives, a great way to acknowledge this day is to donate to Indigenous Led organizations that support and benefit Indigenous People directly.

Oh gosh so many.

If I had to pick just one… Imajica by Clive Barker because done right it would melt everybody’s brains and burn down the internet.

Runner-up: Ring Shout directed by Ryan Coogler

So many others.

Wraeththu
The Dandelion Dynasty
The Westing Game
The Quantum Thief
Akata Witch

This is one of the coolest freakin' science stories I've ever heard of! Members of the Haíɫzaqv First Nation of BC noticed some animal had been damaging their *underwater* crab traps, so they set up a camera. This is what they found! www.science.org/content/arti...
Have wild wolves learned to use tools?
Video captures a lone female pulling crab traps out of the water, but does it count as tool use?
