It does appear as if schools are poaching HCs from each other more than promoting coordinators as in years past. Maybe that means a buyers market with coordinators?

It’s funny- but listening to the @shutdownfullcast.bsky.social this week and as they do their “4th choice” lists for a ton of teams, the guy widely seen as UK’s #2 selection (Stein, OC Oregon) only came up once. Anyway, oddly made me feel better about UK’s chances of getting him.

The difference between the Dodgers and almost all other teams is that the Dodgers don’t have to choose who to pay and who not to pay. Their only limitation is the ability to offer playing time.

What does a Stoops return look like? Let’s say it’s a 5-7 or better finish. Last offseason, the program went radio silence. Does UK pressure Stoops and staff to be more visible? Do they actually promote the players? The program? What should UK/Stoops do to rally the troops for 2026?

Students and their families need to see ”school” as a positive place that loves, supports, and teaches them. Schools need to provide a wider variety of ways to get to school. More ideas than can fit here, but 90% of school is showing up and we all need to help make that happen.
