tbh YouTube forcing AI translated dubs sucks ass cuz I usually watch videos in both English and my first language
And things have been far more inconvenient since YT started doing this shit e.g. videos in my L1 autodubbed into English (which works like crap) and vice versa (which is equally shitty)

AI dubs aren't just an attempt to replace voice actors. Engineering, mixing, writing, directing, and QC are also cut, narrowed down to a single prompter.
When I write dub scripts, it is an exercise in musicality, translation, and personal life experience. A prompter understands none of that.
