My semi-regular reminder that it would also be financially transformative, for the household AND the city.
If a large portion of households went down from two cars to one car, it would be transformative for walking, biking, and transit in the city

Me walking across the street and buying my little hardware store purchase in cash, a little treat for both of us
I like to revert to it in the small town I frequent. It's relaxing to just buy whatever the screwdriver or lightbulb or paper towels are they have at the small local store.

It was another rough day in Minneapolis, but people were able to do some great work protecting each other from these Nazi kidnappers. A lot of inspiring work happening around the city - I hope you are able to plug in and get involved.

Four valid reasons to not want self driving cars in Baltimore

1) They don't necessarily reduce the number of cars on the road. We should pushing for fewer cars to increase safety for all: physically disabled neighbors, kids, elderly, bicyclists, regular ol' pedestrians.

WI and Girl Guides UK are talking out of both sides of their mouths. If you stand with trans women and girls by excluding them when the going gets rough rather than ACTUALLY FIGHTING TO STAY TOGETHER, what use is your allyship
“we stand with them” HOW, motherfucker, you’re falling over at a light breeze

Repeatedly, charities have chosen to cooperate with the ongoing exclusion of trans people from public life rather than take a serious risk to defend us. They will survive this shit. We fucking won't. Girl guiding or the People's History Museum or whatever get to do on. We die alone.

Now that it’s actually the Christmas season, let me highly recommend the movie Baltimorons. It’s the super delightful new holiday movie you need in your life this year. Well with the $7 you need to pay to stream it. And if you’re in Baltimore it’s still playing at The Senator.
