Americans have been dragged, tackled, beaten, tased and shot by immigration agents.

They’ve had their necks kneeled on.

They’ve been held outside in the rain while in their underwear.

At least three citizens were pregnant when agents detained them.
More Than 170 U.S. Citizens Have Been Held by Immigration Agents. They’ve Been Kicked, Dragged and Detained for Days.
The government does not track how often immigration agents grab citizens. So ProPublica did. Our tally — almost certainly incomplete — includes people who were held for days without a lawyer. And near...

Hillary Clinton headlined an event run by Trump donor Miriam Adelson's newspaper. There, she blamed TikTok for young people’s "misinformed" views on Israel.

The next day, Ro Khanna met US veterans — mobilized in part by social media — who were abducted by Israel as they tried to bring aid to Gaza.

yes, it’s really that bad.
If new proposals detailed in an FDA memo are put into place, experts told me it would mean the end of annual flu shots. And end of most vaccines for pregnant people. And maybe the end of updates to pneumonia vaccines. And more.

The refusal to consider DC Statehood is largely a reluctance to give DC two Senators, which itself is a tacit admission that the United States Senate is an anti-democratic institution.
Statehood for D.C. is an ethical obligation at this point, required to protect the rights of our residents to govern ourselves against such out-of-state troops being sent to patrol our city.
NEW: Republican-led states, in a new filing at the D.C. Circuit, say D.C. residents are irrelevant, D.C. belongs to everyone else. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

The filing is led by the South Carolina and West Virginia attorneys general. Both states sent troops to DC.

It's become normal now for high-level political figures to argue that an entire generation was brainwashed through fake videos into mass anti-Israel political mobilization by TikTok. Complete conspiracy thinking, rooted in zero evidence, based on nothing
Hillary Clinton blames TikTok and “totally made up” videos for young people’s views on Israel and Palestine.

She says social media influenced “not just the usual suspects” but also “young Jewish Americans who don’t know the history and don’t understand.”

It is so interesting to me how many people in my life struggle to accept that what is happening is autoimmune. They would rather say things like “is this an allergy?” “What about shingles?” But when I say autoimmune they are really uncomfortable. Does anyone else experience that?

Wealth in America is the most concentrated at the top since the Gilded Age.

The wealthy make billions in untaxed, unrealized capital gains.

Executives are paid more than ever, and corporations pay lower taxes than ever.

THIS is why the economy isn't working for us.

I moved my prescriptions from a CVS in Target to a CVS instead because even that partnership should fail. I could not agree more - capital has to know there are consequences.
I have come to the idea that we have to collectively, brutally, ritualistically kill Target just to show capital that we truly aren’t fucking around.
Target quietly added ChatGPT in its app last week.
