Having done a lot of work integrating the tech industry, I genuinely remember the week they all came back possessed with this kind of vitriol. It was post-Clubhouse implosions. You could actually tell they all had some kind of conversation/retreat or something and came back executing a plan.
The tech oligarchs are the most organised, determined anti democratic force we’ve seen this side of World War II

For way too long this has been ignored, elided and under estimated

What someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time
A Palantir billionaire just called for public hangings.

I've been saying this for a year now: the Democrats have missed a gigantic political opportunity--and, at this point, have failed in an ethical obligation--to create a shadow-government health department that dispenses medically accurate information, guidance, and advice.

for anyone interested, @hammerandhope.bsky.social ran an article on exactly this: "An organized urban wing of the railroad called vigilance committees focused on protecting, supporting, and learning from fugitives. That education went in both directions..."

Black-led vigilance committees not only protected and aided fugitives but also learned from the formerly enslaved as they built a movement pedagogy together.

Every once in awhile I have to start w/ a brand new doctor and have to write down everything that has happened to my body in the last six years. And each time I step back and take in the whole picture I feel this mix of pride at having fought so hard to live and grief at how little healthcare did.

The WH deleted the post…but now it’s back with a new ICE video, this time using an altered clip from Carpenter’s SNL monologue.

I’m so disgusted by this. If you have friends and family who have been through this process, you know how huge this day is for someone. How devastating it would be for it to go down like this.

This really is grotesque: they went through years-long citizenship processes and are now being denied simply because if the country they are from. It’s formalized bigotry.
