Folks in D.C. may be limiting access to health care, but in Kentucky we're expanding it. From opening the first hospital in West Louisville in 150 years to PMC's Appalachian Valley Autism Center, expanding Medicaid and more, we're making sure families can get the care they deserve.

What Do You Want to See From Apple in 2026?
What Do You Want to See From Apple in 2026?
As we shared in our annual What to Expect Guide yesterday, 2026 is going to be a busy year for Apple. There are a lot of firsts in development, including the first foldable iPhone and the first OLED MacBook, plus an all new home hub device that will kick off Apple's major expansion into smart home devices and robotics. We'll get new M5 Macs and new iPads early in the year, along with an updated ‌iPhone‌ 17e. In the spring, we're expecting iOS 26.4 with the revamped version of Siri, and the home hub, a new Apple TV, and a new HomePod mini could launch in that same timeframe. We're aware of what's likely to launch based on rumors and past release information, but we'd love to hear from the MacRumors community. What do you want to see Apple release this year? Are you excited for the new version of ‌Siri‌? Planning to get an ‌iPhone‌ Fold? What do you want to see from iOS 27 and macOS 27? Let us know your thoughts in the comments, and take a look at our What to Expect guide for an overview of the current rumors. We'll be hearing a lot more about Apple's 2026 plans in the coming months, and you can count on us to have in-depth coverage of every rumor that surfaces. If you want to discuss Apple's 2026 products, our MacRumors forums are an excellent resource, plus they're a great place to get help on current Apple products and software, or to find like-minded folks in the Apple community. What's funny is you can tell exactly why it output this string.

When it stole literally all of Stack Overflow, it stole tons and tons of people's explanations of how to make a program that produces random character strings.

One of the easiest ways to do so, contains *this* ASCII string.
Lmao this rules so hard

This is a really good point that I had not run into before: these "creators" have no further insight into their alleged creation than the average audience member and that is why it cannot be called art (besides all the other obvious reasons).

Fuck you people. Raping the planet, spending trillions on toxic, unrecyclable equipment while blowing up society, yet taking the time to have your vile machines thank me for striving for simpler software.

Just fuck you. Fuck you all.

I can't remember the last time I was this angry.

Knowing where automated license plate readers are located is nice, but it doesn’t erase the “legitimate public safety risk” posed by the vast amounts of data this technology collects, EFF’s @tsnvaa.bsky.social told @LPM.org. www.lpm.org/investigate...
Nearly 200 license plate readers keep watch on Louisville drivers. LMPD won’t say where they are
License plate reader cameras are growing in popularity among police nationwide. But some local agencies refuse to disclose device locations.

this is such a painful loss. my heart is broken.

The Maverick is a small, lightweight truck that is used for hauling kids around town and maybe a swingset and some mulch. That's the PERFECT use for a BEV truck right now. How could they be so blind?!

The F150 Lightning was fine but Ford positioned it as a work truck; towing trailers, hauling heavy loads long distance, etc. Current battery technology just isn't there (yet).
December 16, 2025 at 8:51 AM
My thoughts are that if Ford had built a BEV Maverick instead of a full sized truck they would have been massively successful.

I understand that a lot of folks have been misled by fear-mongering and powerful regressive voices but it’s still astonishing to me that so many have fallen for the idea that oppressively policing other people’s gender identity and expression could in any way be part of an enlightened future.
