Teaching: one day to go and I'm off the grid. No lessons left to teach, apparently; I'm just playing guitar at the end of the staff panto. Boring.

Singing: I had a chat with one of our music teachers, who's a singer. She talked about pub band repertoire, and how singing some songs that have all the notes in the same high register make it impossible to sing those notes in the next - I thought it was just me! Vocal cords stretch and fatigue.

How much Twitter do you have to snort to convince yourself that sexual violence is exclusively a foreign cultural import, or that education to combat it shouldn't begin until the people you're trying to reach are old enough to be perpetrators?
Dog-whistle and factually incorrect. Ladies, raise your hand if you were sexually assaulted by a boy at school? I’d wager this or a family member is most women’s first experience of sexual violence

For better or worse, public figures are judged when they die — their character, contributions, beliefs. It's undeniable that millions have mourned Rob Reiner's tragic death, celebrating his talent and contributions. I suspect when a certain public figure kicks the bucket, sentiments wont be the same

Guitar: banged together a version of Goldfinger's cover of Nena's 99 Luftballons. Alternating singing with the bassist so that I can trigger all my pedals and boost the volume for the solos.

2 guitars, 2nd pre-tuned for Killing In The Name.
