I don’t think I post links to my own books a lot, but it’s something we writers kinda havta do on occasion. I’m proud of the Perfect Prophet series for its horror, its spotlight on faith and its focus on struggles that make believing in a purpose a challenge.

This feels weird to say but I think the antagonist needs love the most. Whether he's capable of it himself is up for debate, but he does actively seek it out in others, buying affection with lofty (often false) promises and over-the-top gifts, if necessary. He can't exist without admirers. #Lovember

Which of your characters needs love the most? 💔

MC : Barus Adam
WIP : The Blood of Berenices

This WIP is pretty emotionally taxing to write, so stepping away from it and the main duo helps me stay sane and enthusiastic about the project 😅 As a rule, I try not to dial back into the antagonist (or disorientated protagonist) unless I'm at my desk. #AwesomeCharacters #WritingCommunity #Writesky

Ok, meta question today! Do you think about your characters only when you are writing their story?

Or do you think about them at other times and in other situations, even if you never write about it?

Colombia sounds awesome but the way. Kudos to you on the decision! Looks like we're in the same boat, a wide boat, a really really wide boat.
Hahaha! That's the spirit!
I'm really glad to be here. Thank you and much love.
About publishing I have absolutely no clue as of yet but I'm leaning on traditional. Djibouti has no publishing houses, so I'll have to do my research in this giant pond.
I read through some of your writing posts earlier and it sounds very wholesome! The love you experienced during your upbringing is clear to see, if that isn't a creepy thing to say.

Here's to you nailing down exactly what you want! Also Dominique resembles Berenice which is latin for Veronica. :P
I'm honestly overwhelmed, I haven't really shared this with anyone since signing up a few days ago. It seriously means a lot, really.
My bad this isn't from my first manuscript but my as-of-yet unnamed sequel.
Well, it's not a spoiler, but actually his backstory before the book even begins. His left leg was torn off on the way to find a cure for his daughter's illness. A Ferrland wolf, (a black fanged creature that lives exclusively on a volcanic stretch of land.) attacked him, the outcome broke our MC.

In some ways, it could be said that I'm always thinking of them. Their stories are my stories, in essence, if not in fact. They're always with me. Maybe they always have been, in their own way.

#wipsnips *nice* the guardian king bursts in on angelique in the middle of the night with the intention of trading her for sebastian, who is being tormented under thana's rule #queerwriters #writesky #writingcommunity
And blue flames also burn hotter than red.

Yellow/Orange is the color of my MC's favorite drink, Quinine & lyte.

It's basically a medicinal shot of quinine added to regular lyte drink. The lyte itself is simply soda water with electrolyte powders mixed in, very popular. The quinine is for the MC's phantom limb pain.
It's #NovemberWorldbuilders!
We're talking about colors in our worlds! Tell me about something in your world that's YELLOW or ORANGE? I find that these two are often underrated/underused in worldbuilding, so I'd love to hear what you have. Maybe something symbolic of the sun or made of gold?

All. The. Freaking. Time! My mom jokes that my characters don't just live with us, but live rent free in her head, too. I have so many AU's that run through my head for them, some of which I partly blame you for (the outlaws having a movie night has amused me to no end while trying to cook dinner).

you can tell it's hunting season because the old men are acting more helpless than usual being in the woods without their wives
My friend got married there and a few days later the war forced him through the border to my mother's house, he's been migrating within Africa, now he's safe and rebuilding a life. The UAE and others newer players got the hang of using proxies for their interests and influence, the game's changed.
I'm Khaled, and I'm going on a trip this week so I'll roll over the edge and get used, huh.

My story's set in a fictional world where humanity rebuilt itself after surviving near extinction, the protagonists also roll over the edge and get used. (😶)

Hey everyone!

My name's Dan.

I grew up an only child in an isolated countryside home surrounded by my grandpa's library. He didn't have a lot of books for kids, so I had to jump right into the heavy stuff just for something to do.

Now I'm a writer!
