If you're saying *the United States* hasn't created "real culture" there's one of two explanations, you're so neck deep in American culture that you don't recognize it as such, or you're doing vulgar nationalism.
I once got in an argument with a Norwegian coworker who said that America never created any real culture. I pointed out things like jazz and he was like “but really that’s African and Caribbean,” so finally I landed on ranch dressing, and I am proud to confirm that we got that goin for us

Gamers have such incredibly unreasonable demands of indies it's sort of a wonder anything gets made at all.
I could never fault an indie dev for just wanting to withdraw entirely from public from what are deeply wild, unfair or aggressive demands on their passion projects from 'gamers'.

If you are looking for an editor, Lauren should be your first stop. Her work on Navigating with You was top notch and vital to that book becoming a book that got nominated for a half dozen national awards. I can't believe Mad Cave let her go, but that could be some press's huge win picking her up
Yesterday was my last day with Mad Cave Studios. I'm so grateful for the opportunities the last 3.5 years have brought me and the books these amazing creators produced during that time. I would really love to keep in touch and am open to new editorial roles. 💖
