maga used propaganda and manipulation of social media to win in 2024 (xitter, fox, newsmax). They will try the same tactics in 2026. People *in the street* can't be censored, blocked, flooded, or distracted. If you value democracy it's time to get active *NOW*. #GoodTrouble

Presidential Emergency Operations Center is under the East Wing. Sophisticated communications, bunker -- demolished! What's going in it's place? WHO'S PAYING FOR IT? "Private" donations so Trump could bypass Congress and appropriations process? He lied about demolishing the East Wing for a reason.

Couldn’t have said it better. And living down South now and in a more diverse area, I see it even more!! It makes me so sick and also breaks my heart.

WOW: The White House says the president's MAIN PRIORITY is his BALLROOM. SNAP is ending. Subsidies for health care are gong to double and in some instances quadruple plan premiums. The government is shut down. The cost of living is through the roof. And his priority is his ballroom.

Ad: This clip, then cutting to people waiting in food lines, then to Johnson saying he isn't familiar with X, Y, or Z, then cutting to U.S. citizens being arrested by masked goons, then a quote from Roberts and the immunity decision.

1/ Leavitt didn't say this without Trump's approval. That he wanted her to say it shows just how mentally askew and out of touch he is really is.

Merkley: "What we've seen is that democracies no longer die bc men w/guns go in and take it over. Instead, it's electeds who erode the separation of power. If you have a rubber-stamp Congress & courts that deliver more power to the executive, suddenly you have an authoritarian state. It's here now."
Yeah, I think y'all just keep showing everyone how corrupt crypto has become.
All good. I look forward to the return of debate. We all agree something needs to be put in place after this shit show.
Oh, I wonder how much he paid for that.

What was a hypo last year now a concrete question; can Billups just pay Trump for a pardon? Or to drop the case? #ThanksJohnRoberts
It worked for 248 years. We need to revisit the checks and balances in a new digital society. The checks and balances should be that the president has much less power. A small group of co-presidents can collude and corrupt almost as readily as one. The safeguards should be outside the Executive.
Or, you know, refusal to double American healthcare premiums and a demand to release the Epstein files. They've tucked their tails for two reasons -- tax breaks for billionaires and protecting pedophiles.
I'd rather he stick around until we arrest him.
Impeachment should have happened as soon as he fired the inspectors general across the executive that check executive power. The independent watchdogs need to be in the constitution. Trump is a shit, but he sure is showing America what it needs. So not co-pres, but IGs with teeth and protection. IMO
Nah. But we definitely need tighter controls on the president. Locked into the constitution with an expanded supreme court to match the districts. And stronger anti-monopoly laws for digital companies.

Ask him every day until he "has time to get the details."

A key function of Congress is to oversee the executive branch. Every time Mike Johnson pulls this simpering act, he's abrogating his oath as Speaker.
RAJU: You said yesterday you were still trying to get the details of this $230m Trump wants from the DOJ. Now that you've had some time, are you ok with taxpayers potentially being on the hook for that kind of money?

MIKE JOHNSON: I'm not trying to dodge. I haven't had time to get the details

SNAP benefits are about to lapse for 42 million people, because nothing says “save the children” like starving them.
