With so many things currently happening in this country by a gov't that "lacks the authority" to do so (tariffs anyone?), it's completely astounding that there is an argument that a thing didn't happen because the gov't lacks authority. It happened!

I had linemen stepping front of me to deflect a hit. Any time a play (or the ball) came near me a manager asked if I was okay. For the whole game - anytime I was in the player/coaches box.
They took good care of me. 3/x

Last week, we had a close game with a league rival. For some reason, every play seemed to come to our sideline - right where I was standing. The players and managers around me kept an eye on me, knowing with a camera up I don't always react fast enough to an oncoming play. 2/x

Maybe not the same things, but here's mine. I'm a hs football statistician - I've been on the sidelines for 43 years. Two weeks ago, we started a new kicker, after having some trouble with PATs. In a blowout game, he went 8-8 in PATs. He's also a freshman. 1/x
