I'm glad they got you figured out! I wouldn't be surprised to find he's doing a fair amount of self-medicating, too.

I kinda hope the pain keeps him up at night. Of course, if he was terrified of dying and going to hell, that could make it hard to sleep, too.

He seems to be able to play through the pain on the golf course. 😎 Or they're just taking him out and driving around the course while he snoozes in the golf cart. Then wake him up to stagger into the omelet bar. 🤣

Yes, he is. But he doesn't know what toys are. I've offered him several, but nothing is worth playing with. Sometimes he sleeps on his duckie. Boomer didn't have any trouble walking on a leash, but several of his younger siblings didn't know how.

Growing up, I remember having a 1973 car with one of those new annoying seatbelt warning chimes. We hooked the lap belt up and tucked it into the seat to shut it up. 🤦♀️

Boomer was surrendered from a breeder, so he may have a similar issue to Maris. I think I could get some variation of this photo every day.
