Fellow Wisconsin residents: voting for Crawford on Tuesday was always critical for the state; now it’s critical for the country.
Here's the real election fraud...

Elon Musk's interest in this race is really clear, and it's not because he cares about the people of Wisconsin. Musk wants Brad Schimel to help his bottom line.

The final cocktail of my trip to Chicago. A perfect Black Manhattan. Heading back home tomorrow.

Second cocktail of the Alone in Chicago trip. A Mole Old Fashioned at a Mexican place. Here’s to our autonomous, independent North American neighbors.

First thing I did on my solo trip to Chicago was walk over to the Art Institute to see the Art and Culture of Panafrica show. One of the works that seemed extremely relevant on this day was this painting called Dreams of the Detainee.P

Help from this Nazi-employing administration we don't need. (Also, do read @swordsjew.bsky.social's full thread on this bec she can, of course explain it and she does so clearly and ferociously.
the fact that people are being disappeared in the name of ""preventing antisemitism"" by a christian nationalist administration is making me nauseated and horrified in ways i cant even begin to explain

Today I thought, How sad Mel Brooks must be. He thought we had so vanquished Nazis we could ridicule them as pathetic relics. This is a regime that makes Mel Brooks sad. You cannot get any lower.

First cocktail of my Girl (singular) Trip to Chicago. Delicious manhattan (with bourbon of course). I feel compelled to acknowledge I’m fiddling while Rome burns but I’m still calling my reps while here. My m.o. is tipsy and pissed off.

Was able to book the house/pet sitter for a few days so I'm driving my own lone self to Chicago for a few days of museums, ambling, and good food. Happy International Women's Day to me. (Happy spending time with her favorite person who bought her everything in this photo to the dog.)

BREAKING: we’re suing President Trump and the Trump Administration for recklessly firing tens of thousands of federal workers, including thousands of our veterans.

It's wrong, illegal, and bad for our state and our country—that’s why we’re headed to court to try and stop them.

I actually think the dems should attend the SOTU, wait till the 2nd sentence, and then walk out en masse, that'll do it, there'll be no address, he'll just have a meltdown on national Tv

I saw all the nominees except Dune because so not interested. The Nickel Boys should have won, but Anora was second best so good job to the voters of at least one election this year. To everyone whose been waiting all night for my opinion, you're very welcome.

Maybe you, @baldwin.senate.gov and @pocan.house.gov, can do something like this too? I think it would help for us to band together for an evening. (But maybe not on FB.)
For folks asking if I'm going to attend Trump's joint address to Congress next week: no. Instead, I'm choosing to hear directly from Oregonians and will be hosting an open-to-all town hall on Facebook live. Oregonians can submit questions in advance here:
Town Hall Participation Form
If you are a constituent of a lawmaker of an upcoming People's Town Hall, submit your information here! If you have questions or difficulties with the form, email [email protected]

If I were a Democrat, and I saw Trump do a purge of high-level generals who were women and people of color and wouldn't be "yes men," I wouldn't vote to advance JD Vance's college friend for Secretary of the Army.

And yet....16 Democrats just did so

I fear we've stopped calling our reps--this because when I called Ron Johnson's office today, I got through to a human for the first time. I got to rail to an actual person about Musk and the cruelties he's visiting on federal workers. It was good, but maybe also not so good? #morningshift

I want to see my D-reps names in lists like this, @pocan.house.gov and @baldwin.senate.gov
Rep Raskin has been great. Rep Ocasio-Cortez has been great. And Rep Frost and Rep Crockett. Senator Murphy. Maybe no one knew exactly what to do. But such people laid down a clear marker. Let’s respect these and other elected federal representatives who stood out these first few weeks.

Dear @pocan.house.gov, I've voted for you every election I could. I followed all you've done in WI this week, the Medicaid presser, the farmer town hall, etc. It's admirable but no longer the way. Listen to this teacher. Your job description has changed. We need you to lead a movement now.
I’m telling you @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social, please watch this. This is the energy. Not egg prices and book tours and strongly worded letters. It’s time to take the gloves off.
Teachers teach. We need a leaderful movement, and there are leaders all around us.
