The flags on all those lamp-posts are cheap, non-recyclable plastic-based material as well as the single use plastic cable ties that are used to attach them. Almost all of them have been shipped over from China adding enormously to the already huge carbon output of the British people.

You can’t take your stuff, let alone pets but you’re expected to have the stuff if you ever get permanent accommodation.
It’s “no cooking” but then no money to by food that’s cheap and nutritious.
No one would do it except as a last resort.

I stayed in a budget hotel for the Edinburgh fringe. It was all I could afford. It wasn't bad but was cramped. There was no chair or living room area and no way to cook so I had to get takeaways or buy snacks to eat sitting on my bed. Fringe was great but living for 2 weeks in a budget hotel is shit
