So my cat started limping. Today we went in and got her checked... and she subluxed her patella! Apparently her patellas are congenitally a bit wobbly, and the right one is worse. I hope with anti-inflammatory medicine it will calm down.
But I gave her a new nickname. Pelli Patelli!

In the last few weeks, several ppl have asked me how Black Cat and Poison Ivy would get along in a crossover. Having given it some serious thought, my conclusion is this: Felicia would have Pam wrapped around her little finger in short order. Pam's weakness for disaster blondes is well-documented.

I can’t recall when my partner and I decided to set up a little jar of washable tasting spoons, but it has been such a useful and cheap kitchen user experience trick
Credit to @faineg.bsky.social for buying us tasting spoons. Incredibly useful especially when preparing a big meal. Sanitary as you have enough to use them only 1 time and you still have the good spoons for your meals.

So much growth this semester. Skills I've cultivated: offering corrective feedback (immediate, delayed, implicit), lesson planning (integrating linguistic focus into a meaningful output task), creating a diverse and culturally inclusive classroom, varying the type of student interactions and output.
