Cycling continues to grow in Chiswick and across Hounslow borough. We’re putting in cycling infrastructure that makes riding a bike safer as well as being fun and healthy and reducing congestion for those who need to use motor vehicles.

The UK, where the day after a decision to take half a million children out of poverty, the media & political world has been full of sneering at those same children & their families, labelling them as ‘Benefits Street’, while the same people are moaning about a tax on £2m mansions. Shameful stuff.

Really pleased that the Labour Government is bringing back maintenance grants.

This will make a huge difference for young people across London, especially as many have told me they have had to work 2 jobs just to afford to live while studying.

As we continue to expand London’s cycle network, the number of daily bike trips is soaring – up to 1,500,000 trips, a more than 40% increase on 2019.

According to the BBC Andy Burnham refuses to rule out challenging Starmer for leadership
He should concentrate on Manchester (where he is doing a good job) rather than stirring up trouble for Labour

What I don’t understand is why the British press don’t hang Brexit around Nigel Farage’s neck like a stockade.

It was the single worst act of economic self harm in modern British history.

Why doesn’t the British media force him to own that?

So not crewed entirely by little Englanders like Georgina Foster how upsetting for her
Nelson's Victory crew included a Brazilian and a Russian, 2 Indians, 2 Swiss, 2 Portuguese, 3 Danes and 3 Norwegian sailors. There were 3 Germans, 4 Italians, 6 Swedes, 7 Dutchmen, 9 West Indians and an African, as well as 21 Americans, 63 Irish, 64 Scots, 441 English.... oh, and 3 French men, too.

Proud to have been selected again as a Labour Party candidate for Hounslow South ward in next year’s council election 🌹 Delighted to do so with these two wonderful people: for the third time with Karen Smith, and for the first time with Scott Hill. Looking forward to an exciting campaign!

A great initiative- but our schools should not really need air filters we all deserve clean air
I want every child in London to breathe clean air in their school.

St Mary’s Primary in Battersea is one of more than 200 schools receiving an air quality filter as part of my new initiative. Brilliant to see first-hand how they’re helping to protect young Londoners' health.

This is what action on climate change looks like
Labour are getting on with the job, green energy brings bills down and creates jobs - the green economy continues to grow at many times the rate of the brown economy.
