Honestly one of the worst, most disturbing paragraphs — on the basis of process, substance, and effect — I’ve read in a Supreme Court order or opinion in a very long time.

My brother is an attorney who works with the immigrant population in Iowa. It's 100% happening but there simply isn't time in the day to read about every raid in every small city and rural county across the US
I live in Georgia. They are. The media in those states aren’t covering them because they dont care and its not “news”.
Like, I legit deal with this last quarter. Ppl werent told. How many times do we need to tell white ppl that just b/c you dont see it in your orbit forsng mean it isng happening.

From a filing today, the State Department intends to revoke and replace transgender people's passports that are changed under a current court order if a higher court reverses the order.
This would be a major problem for trans people traveling.

I’m glad people don’t support deporting moms, but frustrated to see these numbers on LGBT policy.
New piece: Most Trump voters did not "vote to deport moms." They voted bc inflation was high under Biden, to deport criminals, or something else. Many do not support Trump's policies. Welcoming those voters back into the tent is key to future Dem victory.

Unironically they should buy up the domains for about 60 defunct local newspapers in swing states. Hire two reporters to write almost exclusively about highschool sports and new restaurants opening with every 10th article about how the local GOP is screwing over people.

During the vote, top bill backer Kirsten Gillibrand and chief opponent Elizabeth Warren got into a heated argument. Warren strongly believes this will pave the way for corruption, risk the stability of the financial system and allow more criming. Gillibrand argues this bill will protect consumers.
