Cycling round Wiltshire and feeding the ducks (and playing records and building little aeroplanes).

This is a borderline psychotic thing to put in a newspaper.
This is the point where the anti-Reeves stories tip into madness. Criticise her performance all you like but what the hell is this?

It brings me no pleasure to say so but Chris Mason must now resign. His position is untenable.

imho James Garner really is the guy that everyone thinks Steve McQueen is. Garner's fit was so powerful that McQueen threw a tantrum about it and insisted they swap costumes.
Rewatched Great Escape on my last flight and I think we don’t talk enough about James Garner’s unreal drip

It’s my birthday.

The best thing you could do for me is buy my lovely new book, ‘Birds Painted on Beer Mats’

That would be great for both of us I think.

Aerial photography's often fascinating, but this oblique view of Swindon and 1920 is a particular peach.

I bought this hand coloured copy of the 18th century engraving of Cherhill White Horse some time back. It was inexpensive because someone started recolouring it in the 60s judging by the paint applied to the traveller's coat left.

Had a bit of a tidy while listening to the football. What do we think was occupying the minds of Practical Motorists in June 1958?

Have some of that. Shame Walsall got a winner at Bromley, but second in the table's ok for now (and all you can do is win, right?).
Hope Holloway doesn't mind me enjoying things...

I think at this point if you're including Diane Abbott - a woman who has never held government office, has been a backbencher since 2020, and is scarcely a government ally - on your list of political wrongdoers, we all know exactly what your real concerns are

I don't think I've seen stones used to weigh anything other then people for decades. Pounds maybe, if your style guide insists on bracketed imperial measurements, but not stones.

Cool story though.

An aerial photo of Liddington hillfort in our collectons inspired artist and archaeologist Rose Ferraby to create two prints now in our exhibition - Liddington in Winter / Summer. Different layers of paint in the print created different effects. #HillfortsWednesday
