Hell yes, Pittsburgh. Love Yinz. No Kings.
Spent the day developing my large format black and whites from my trip to Maine. Two film holders remain still, which should contain the most interesting shots. Learning some lessons still: I need to label the film holders, and I need to check some of them for leaks.
Fire performers from Cyrus Vampyr at Old Sturbridge Village last week. Their show was amazing!
Sunrise at Acadia National Park last week. I was there to shoot film, but still took some pictures with the DSLR. Looking forward to developing these rolls a lot!

Shot it on 35mm in the K1000 and 120 in the 6x7.

Back from a week in New England, and really looking forward to developing the film I shot. These are my phone pictures, but mostly I shot with DSLR, medium format, and large format.

one thing the liberal political class never learn is that basic-bitch voters don't perceive your sophisticated triangulation as giving the people what they want, they perceive it as you admitting the other guys were right all along — not just policy-wise but emotionally
One thing I’d be nice if Schatz and others acknowledged is that even judging their hard right turn on immigration in Spring 2024 on its own terms it failed miserably. In July when Harris took over Trump led on “immigration” by 9pts, by election day he led 13pts. At best it, electorally, did nothing

I think shooting from the ground would have been too much, but I do like the idea of shooting from a lower angle next time. Thanks for the feedback!
The most surprising photo from a week in upstate New York. An antique sleigh in an old barn, lit by gaps in the barn walls.

Shot with my Petzval from 1850 on a 4x5 Speed Graphic camera.

190mm f3.7, 3 seconds, Ortho Litho film. Df96 monobath.

My favorite shot from the recent trip to upstate New York. A successful outdoor photo with the Voigtlander Petzval lens from 1850, mounted to a Speed Graphic for the focal plane shutter.

190mm, F3.7, 1/50, Ortho Litho film

Proper DSLR scan of my best large format shots to date: a portrait of @thoughty.bsky.social

Ortho Litho film at ISO 6, 1 second, 190mm f3.7 Voigtlander Petzval lens.
If you want a 50-foot reel of Kodak black and white with an unknown expiration date, a daylight loader, and some reloadable film casettes, I would be glad to pass them your way. I got them with a lot of darkroom equipment a while back and have been mostly doing 120 and 4x5 lately.
This is an amazing shot! Having shot a few cameras that old now, I will attest to the difficulty in framing and timing that had to go into a shot as amazing as this.
Wife brought her 100 year old film camera to that pirates game from a few weeks ago and she got this shot that's just perfect
As someone who has been testing and using 100+ year old cameras for a little while, I am genuinely blown away! This shot is amazing!
Antique cameras and photo gear to take pictures with.
My position on incarceration is moderate:

No prison should be private or for profit.
Only those at the highest risk of endangering the safety of others should be incarcerated. Incarceration must be done to rehabilitate and return the offender to society, not to punish them. It should be pleasant.
My moderate position on police:

Police departments should be small, mostly-unarmed, have to know the law, and not be involved in health and welfare issues. No civil forfeiture or qualified immunity, ever. The laws should bind more strongly those we entrust to enforce them.
My views on gender are very moderate:

Gender is a social construct with only weak links to mutable biological conditions, and we should include within its categories any who wish to be included, and exclude those who wish to be excluded. Those who wish to change their biology should be assisted.
I hold a very moderate position on immigration:

Anyone should be able to move to & from any country, for any reason, and reside as long as they like, so long as they identify themselves upon crossing the border.
Nice! Looking forward to seeing what you do with it!
Please vote against any funding package that does not include restoration of ACA funds/credits and significant cuts to ICE. Clawing back the massive funding increase would help pay for healthcare costs and reduce pressure on marginalized communities.
I'm not a wrestling fan, but this game is responsible for some absurdly good times around the table. If you like big personalities, big action, and big beefs (while secretly being best buds behind the scenes), this is the game for you.
