Specifically, the paradigm now is most cards impact the board, draws you cards or builds to a win condition, with most competitive cards doing at least two of those. The good cards in older sets did two, with most competitive cards doing one. Playing older decks feels like swimming through jelly.
Hearthstone Tavern Brawl this week is all championship decks from across the years, and I’m not a “oh no power creep” guy but the differences in average card quality between decks prior to 2020, 2020-2023ish decks and current decks is palpable.

It happened again! This time, to demonstrate how they do indeed use ChatGPT the example was “I used it to look up some code today, and the code didn’t work.” And then the convo moved on. I keep hearing “it’s so useful” but then no actual… uses from these anecdotes!
Whenever a podcast host complains about using ChatGPT to get an answer about something and giving up when there is actual documentation at the website for the thing I just…. It’s right there! You don’t need to use the plagiarism machine that you know will not solve your problem!
