Husband, father, music teacher, engaged citizen, unabashed nerd. He/him.
My child’s art was just featured on @desertbus.org. He is going to be so unbelievably excited when we show it to him later. Love this event and everyone associated with it.

Can’t sleep because of health stuff, but I just saw the McTominay goal, so it could be worse.

Happy 12th birthday to the best of pups. We didn’t think you were going to make it this far, but you proved us wrong.

This year's @desertbus.org event is almost here!

If you'd like to donate early (and give the team a little more driving time), we're still shipping this year's shirt—and bonus sticker!—from our Tucson office to your door via Desert Trucks, Desert Planes, etc: www.fangamer.com/collections/...

Our #DB2025 shirts came from @fangamer.com today! This will be the first time I’ve ever been able to wear the current year’s shirt on Day 1 of the run.

It's a miracle that schools function at all day-to-day, given the demands we make of school workers across the entire system relative to the resources we provide them to make good on our demands. It's a thing held together through a collective effort that puts the moon landing to shame.

Like, this is the basic argument for single payer, not-for-profit healthcare.
My wife and I pay for life insurance even though we have never died. I pay for fire insurance even though my house has never burned down. That's not because we want to throw money at insurance companies. It's because THAT'S HOW INSURANCE WORKS.

There is no way to win this game. There is no behavior that will satisfy them.

You are either failing to live within your means, i.e., swearing off all frivolities like some sort of financial anchorite, or you are ruining the economy by not buying things.
“At the same time, more than half of Gen Z members say they are struggling to make ends meet, yet a majority buy themselves a small treat, such as a pastry, coffee, or sweet, at least once a week. That can lead to overspending…”

While Barry Bonds was intentionally walked a record 668 times in his 22-year career, the target in Game 3 was Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani.

Just drafted the Arena Powered Cube and am saddened to report that I opened no power.

Still looking forward to cheating out some Flying Spaghetti Monster, though.

So the other day I posited to my students that sometime soon, 6-7 will go the way of skibidi, and nobody will say it anymore except for that handful of ride-or-die skibidi kids.

It hasn’t really been an issue since.

I haven't watched a ton of baseball in the last decade, so seeing Naylor (in his sparkly shoes) bat flip after getting walked made me laugh. Does this happen a lot? Phenomenal.

Here's a gift link to the New York Times' coverage of the initial Tea Party rallies in April 2009 which inspired the media to treat it like a massive movement.

Check out how tiny the crowds were:

Philly: 200
DC: "several hundred"
Boston: 500
Austin: 1,000
Houston: 2,000
