As always, sports is a bit of an outlier. Text based social gets news out quick, and those posts are the source for most of your favorite social video creators. But Jamelle is absolutely right about influence evaporating on Twitter. It’s gone. You’re not going to elevate your career there.
i have said this before but if you are actually interested in influencing people beyond a narrow circle of too-online journalists you will be making direct to camera videos on tiktok, instagram and youtube. if you primarily post on text-based social media then you're just dicking around.

With the Caps about to lose, the Hurricanes are alone atop the Eastern Conference standings in any way you want to look at it. Were already first in point percentage, but are now a point ahead of the Isles with two games in hand and two points up on Washington with a game in hand.
