Brind'Amour on Bussi: "He’s been great for us. I think he's come up with the timely save. That's kind of, for me, how I sum it up because it's not like you've been leaving him out to dry and we're giving up 40 shots a night.

More Hall on Bussi: "The cream always rises to the to the top, right? And it doesn't matter if you're 22 or 26, especially if you're a goalie, there's no direct path to being what you are.

Hall on Bussi's poise: "He doesn't seem surprised to me. You know, maybe when he's at home, maybe he's like, 'Holy crap.'"
December 1, 2025 at 1:38 AM
Hall on Bussi: "I think you're seeing him grow from game to game too. He's got a lot of talent as a goalie, and he's a big body, obviously. And I think catching right-handed, it’s just weird to look at sometimes when you're shooting on him.

Hall on being patient against the Flames: "Before the game they put up their analytics, and you could tell that they play some low-event hockey, and they play a defensive style. And they're good at checking — there wasn't a lot of room in the O zone tonight."

Hall on the GWG: "(Ehlers) and I don't get out a lot together, And in practice, we don't get to do very many drills together because we're always working as a line. So it's funny when you get out there with a guy like him that's fast and elusive.

Asked Bussi is anything about his run is surreal: "Anytime you hear your name being chanted by the crowd, it's really cool. But the most important thing is kind of what's going on in this room and stuff, and how we're playing night in and night out.

Bussi said he & Cooley have trained together in the summer: "Part of staying in the moment and stuff is trying not to focus on what the other guy's doing, but to be honest, he's kind of a buddy of mine. We've trained together over the last few summers, so I guess I'm pumped to be one up on him now."

Bussi on playing at 0-0: "These are games that are fun for goalies. It's a really good battle. You don't know what's going to be that moment to change the tide, and fortunately, we got it."
December 1, 2025 at 1:26 AM
Ehlers on the GWG: "We were both coming with a lot of speed. He wanted it on the outside, and then my thought was just going to the net and give him the option. It's a great play by (Hall)."

Rasmus Andersson was given a 10-minute misconduct at the end of the game. He was all over the refs after the game-winning goal.

Here's the thing: The Flames are piling up in their D zone with the hopes the Hurricanes will shoot it into their shin pads and it'll lead to chances going the other way. Which is what has pretty much happened on Calgary's best chances.

Fans implore the Hurricanes to shoot, they do and it leads to a partial break the other way. But Bussi nabs Coronato's shot with the glove.
