I’m thankful for this post
I'm old.

If you're not, listen to this.

Get a guitar or some drums, or a trumpet. Pick up a brush, a pencil, some clay or a welder.

Just make shit. It doesn't have to be good (eventually it will be) just make music, art or write or whatever.

It's literally never been more important.

“Brought to you by, AI.”
Actively Increasing (your electric bill).
Electric bills are up 11% this year, and shutoffs are spiking across the country.

At the same time, corporations are building hundreds of energy-hungry data centers, and working families are being forced to absorb the cost. Higher bills for us, higher profits for them. seiu.co/3M71usW
More Americans are getting their power shut off, as unpaid bills pile up
Average electricity costs have risen 11 percent since January, more than three times the rate of inflation.

The UCMJ was taught to me in Boot Camp. It was written in 1950 in response to post-war Nazis on trial stating they were “just following orders.” Thus, the UCMJ codifies legal orders from illegal orders.
Leavitt: "All lawful -- all orders -- lawful orders are presumed to be legal by our service members."

We only have one planet. And its climate affects everything.

The EU Parliament has just voted to reduce emissions by 90% by 2040. Once agreed with member states, the target becomes EU law.
