Reader beware. I am actually a failed youtuber that'll use the fame and clout I gain on bsky to market my coming silly video experiments to.

All in good fun of course!
If you haven't already, do yourself a treat, and start watching Senritsu Kaiki File KOWASUGI!

That whole series is such a wild ride!

Koji Shiraishi is the master of fake docu horror. :D
As I recently revived an SSD that has tens of thousands of sound effects.. I wonder. Is there really no FOSS tool for organizing sound clips like these? So I can just go through them one by one and tag them with multiple tags so it's easy to find footstep in high heels in semidry mud?
I find it a bit ironic, that I moved away from Windows because of how much it pushed AI-tools on me. Now I'm on Linux... and I find myself unable to do most basic stuff, Like installing apps... without conversing with AI tools. Is that progress?
It's Halloween , and I want to remind people of that one time a french TV crew got Lynch to talk about his music project.

Mere days after switching from Rocky Linux to Fedora 42, I get a notification that Fedora 43 is available.

I am cautious... Will Resolve work in this new shiny promised environment?

Anyone out there that already tried?
So, verdicts.

- One, amazing.
- One really friggin good.
- Rest, mostly rehashed concepts without real... uh... vision,
- One that I would strongly suspect was made by AI, but I've seen Polygon Pictures things before. I just don't think they watch anything outside of their own output.
"before it's too late."

I do wish it was.
Consider also, that with the low film sensitivity, and filming favoured deep focus, these dark moody scenes were probably filmed in blinding daylight.
Also... I am a bit baffled that the only english subs that are available are Hard of Hearing Dubtitles.

I just want to know what they are saying, I can hear them sighing and theclothes rustling.
Noone asked, but I am watching the new season of Star Wars Visions, in japanese, with english subs.. AS THE FOUNDING FATHERS INTENDED!!!

Or... I am probably VASTLY underestimating how hard it would be to make a demon core in the first place.
Or, in other words. I'm just wondering what could be done with radioactive materials and medieval technology.

I mean, with a clockwork mechanism, you could even have it lift the dome back up to make the area safe again after a few weeks, when the surviving invaders have left in bewildering terror.
Basically, a medieval version of Project Blue Peacock. But instead of big explosion, you get the slow but deadly cursed effect of slow death by radiation poisoning among the invaders who have no clue about what's going on.

Imagine it like a booby trap. An army takes a city. In the middle of the town square there's a big sculpture with two half domes. A contraption slowly lowers the upper dome over a few days. Blue light finally shines as it reaches criticality. Then... People start to die... Horribly.
Random thought. Since the Demon Core was basically a ball inside a couple of half spheres. Could one maybe use it as a weapon in a, say, medieval setting? No timetraveling or dimensional shenanigans. Just smelting and lots of disposable humans?
As the fedora thing is installing, I see this. Yes, it's v42.. but still. I take this as another sign that maybe this is the DE I am supposed to use...

Though... As a lifelong Hitchhiker's Guide nerd, i must admit, that was really a nice touch.
Alright. I'm now venturing out. I am going to try out Fedora on my laptop (formerly running Mint) to see how I like it... Before moving my main edit bay desktop (currently running Rocky 8.10) over to it... Why? Because I like being able to run stuff other than Resolve...
Well... It happened. Nr one thousand. Is that an achievement or a sign to take a pause? 163 followers, and I think some of them, maybe, are human.

We'll see what happens.

Work has started, at least, on the Advent Calendar, after many a conceptual redesigns.
A question for english speakers the world over. Why do you keep "depressing" buttons? What is the motivation there? To an outsider, like myself, it does seem strangely, needlessly psychologically sadistic.

Have I mentioned yet, that the worst thing about running Linux on my machines is all the moon logic involved when doing something high brained advanced as... installing an app...
